We absolutely loved our stay here over the week of NYE. Coming from the city, my wife was initially worried by the "rural" setting as we drove to the house, but once we arrived all worries disappear. The home is beautiful, and provides amazing views of the Lake Cumberland, in a quiet setting away from the major highways. The home comfortably fit our family of 4 (there is also a sofa sleeper we didn't use to accommodate 1-2 more guests if needed.) It also had everything necessary for grilling and cooking all our meals. During our stay we visited Cumberland Falls State Park (~30 min drive), Mammoth Cave National Park (~2 hr drive), and Natural Arch (~15-20 min drive.) All three were amazing sites, and we highly recommend. Somerset offers all the dining options(sit down and fast food), as well as grocery stores for any essentials.

Summer was an amazing host, and provided us with a ton of information prior to and during our stay. We will definitely look to stay with here again in the future, maybe in the summer to take more advantage of all the area has to offer.
